💸Salary: £87,525 to £92,457 (depending on experience). Up to 15% company performance-based bonus.
📍Location: Remote – must be based within the UK. Occasional visits to see customers and the team.

Who are we looking for?
Dedicated individuals who blend technical passion with the honesty and empathy needed for client consulting. People who love data and strongly believe in sharing knowledge, skills, and wisdom both internally and with the wider data community. Someone who thrives in an agile environment, balancing their technical prowess with the pragmatic needs of the project.
For the Principal Consultant role, we expect a good understanding of our core analytics tech stack and the ability to augment the end-to-end solution with value driving strategy initiatives.
Required Tools and Technologies:
- Microsoft Azure and cloud computing concepts, or experience working with other cloud providers
- SQL – writing complex high performance queries, understanding how queries execute on different compute technologies
- DAX – to make those semantic models fly
- Visualisation Tools – Power BI, Tableau
- Unity Catalog, Purview or other Data Governance tools
Other technology we like, but isn’t essential:
- Python – we build almost everything in Python, but other languages are awesome too
- Apache Spark – Databricks, Microsoft Fabric or another Spark engine
- Building parallel systems – Distributed compute engines
- Analytics Engineering solutions - dbt
Skills and Approaches:
- Agile project management
- Work closely with customers to understand their unique needs and challenges.
- Conceptualise and deliver data strategy advisory services to clients. This will pertain to Data Maturity, Data Governance frameworks, and Data Culture establishment.
- Deliver high-quality solutions that drive business value and enable data-driven decision making.
- Communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Build strong relationships with clients, establishing trust through transparency and support.
- Run hands-on events to support data strategy initiatives.
- Stay up to date with the latest developments in Data Lakehouse architecture, analytics engineering, and data modelling.
